Area 51 Tickets
Area 51 is now a big name on the Manchester clubbing scene, having taken up residence in 2008 at the Whitworth Street West site formerly occupied by Emporia. The club is dedicated to providing the biggest and best electro house party in Manchester and has one major ace up its sleeve ? late night (or should that be early morning?) opening. Area 51 is open until 9am every week, meaning the dancing only ends when the day begins. With parties rarely starting before midnight, you?re advised to arrive fashionably late if you intend staying the course.
Area 51 hosts sets from some of the biggest names in dance music, each eager to tear it up with the aid of the venue?s thumping Funktion1 sound system. The club is split into two main rooms and the large Area 51 smoking terrace. The idea, says co-owner Gary Marto, is to play different music in each area and see what works best. Guests including Rob Tissera, Xpress 2 and Felix Da Housecat have all rocked the club, giving Manchester?s house lovers a taste of the world?s best dance music.
Area 51 looks like going from strength to strength, with future events and residencies set to build on an impressive opening year.
Area 51 is a new club opening on Manchesters Deansgate, opposite Deansgate Locks. The two room clubspace was formerly Emporia, but it's now been taken over by an ambitious team who plan on bringing big names to Manchester and putting on top notch Friday and Saturday nights. Catering to the late night clubber, Area 51 is home to clubnights Freak, KissDaFunk and more. Guest DJs like Oliver Lang, Jason Herd and Viktor Valasko play at Area 51, and events are usually very busy. We'd advise that you buy your Area 51 tickets in advance so you're guaranteed to get in to the club.
